FinMark Trust is pleased to introduce its first edition of the Country News newsletter, with Swaziland as its debut feature. This edition offers insights into the contributions made by the Trust in Swaziland in addressing the need for greater financial inclusion, and in facilitating the implementation of the Finance and Investment Protocol. FinMark Trust is an independent trust funded by UKaid from the Department of International Development (DFID) through its Southern Africa office. FinMark Trust’s purpose is ‘making financial markets work for the poor, by promoting financial inclusion and regional financial integration’. Swaziland is one of the countries in the SADC region in which FinMark Trust is actively involved in catalyzing policy change through its research and advocacy work.
